Lucknow: Left-handed batsman Abhishek (59; 20, 4x4, 6x6) scored a blistering half-century to help Sunrisers Hyderabad beat Lucknow Supergiants by six wickets in an IPL match on Monday, aided by a useful contribution from the middle-order batsmen.With this defeat, the door of Lucknow's playoff chances closed.

Gujarat Titans, Royal Challengers Bangalore and Punjab Kings have already secured tickets for the playoffs. Mumbai Indians and Delhi Capitals are competing for the remaining spot as Lucknow, who had a slim chance, were eliminated.

Marsh-Aidan Abbara: Lucknow's team was as usual based on three main players before this. Openers Mitchell Marsh (65, 39 6, 4x6, 6x6) (61, 38 2, 4x4, 6x4) laid a good foundation by adding 115 runs for the first wicket. Playing at number four, Nicholas Pooran scored a useful 45 runs.Lucknow Supergiants got off to a good start thanks to Marsh-Aidan's impressive half-centuries, but Sunrisers Hyderabad's run-rate was somewhat curtailed in the latter stages.
