Jaipur: Lucknow Super Giants (LSG) registered a thrilling victory over hosts Rajasthan Royals (RR) by just two runs in the IPL match at the Sawai Mansingh Stadium here on Saturday night.

Batting first in the match, Giants scored 180 runs for 5 wickets in the scheduled 20 overs. Chasing this target, the Royals also managed to score 178 runs, losing as many wickets.Panth stumbles during the tossRyan Parag led the Rajasthan team in this match in place of captain Sanju Satson who was injured in the last match. A narrow defeat
It was Royals' third narrowest defeat in the IPL. Delhi Daredevils in 2012 and Sunrisers Hyderabad in 2024 lost by just 1 run.A narrow victory
This is the second game in which the Giants have won by just two runs.In 2022, they won against Kolkata Knight Riders (KKR) by the same margin.
Against KKR in 2023, they won by just 1 run, which is a record for the Giants.In the same year, they won against KKR by 4 runs and in 2023 against Mumbai by 5 runs.
