Kolkata beat Delhi Capitals by 14 runs in the IPL match at the Arun Jaitley Stadium on Tuesday. Sunil (3 for 29) hampered the hosts chasing a target of 205 runs. Their disciplined attack limited Delhi to 190 for 9 in 20 overs. (62; 453, 4x7, 6x2), (43; 232, 4x4, 6X3) and Vipraj Nigam (38; 196, 4x5, 6x2) could not win for the Delhi team.
Delhi won the toss and chose to field. Kolkata scored 204 runs for 9 wickets in 20 overs on the strength of concerted play by top order batsmen. The team's young batsman Angkrish Raghuvanshi (44; 322, 4x3, 6x2) became the highest individual scorer in the team. Opening batsman Rehmanullah Gurbaz (26; 122, 4x5, 6x1) 2 (27; 162, 4x2, 6x2) got off to a flying start. Both of them faced only 18 balls to add 48 runs in the first wicket partnership.
